The Global Village Peace Gathering is thee day festival held in Lincolnshire. This year's programme includes over 30 bands and DJs from throughout the UK. There are also workshops for adults and children that include yoga, meditation, tai chi, theatre and circus performances, poetry and spoken word events, talks and debates and a children's area.

Over 400 trees have been planted on and around the site where the Gathering is held. The use of chemicals has been eliminated, and as a result the wildlife has flourished. It is intended that the site will become a sustainable space, in the broadest sense, where people can come together to promote effective peaceful activity in their own lives and in the wider world.

One of our main aims should be to impact as little as possible on the local environment. The festival is an opportunity for people to investigate different ways of doing things

We aim to celebrate humanity, and life on planet earth. While providing the space and time to relax and build the positive inspiration we all need to move forward.

We ask all those involved in performing or speaking, running workshops or selling goods to try to enhance and promote the general ethos of the event, and therefore ultimately the enjoyment and enhancement of the Gathering for ALL!
