Crown Lakes Audio Tour Launch
The latest Watch-This-Space project is an MP3 Audio Tour around Peterborough's Crown Lakes Country Park. This ex-brick pit area has been regenerated, leaving little trace of the industrial heritage that has shaped this park along with so much of the city. The audio tour invites audience members into the world of brick making and to celebrate of the rich diversity of those involved in this industry. The audio tour also offers insight into the unique ecosystems of the ex-brick pits that allow endangered species such as the great crested newt and the bearded stonewort to thrive. The audio tour will be open for anyone to do simply by downloading the MP3 tracks and the map from the Internet (Details soon to be announced). Meanwhile Natural Networks will be launching the tour on Saturday 15Th July. Please contact Watch This Space with if you are interested in taking part.
