New Publication from the European Foundation Centre
Charities will be able to keep up to date with developments in European funding, thanks to a new publication from The European Foundation Centre, an international membership association of independent funders
EFFECT, which will be published three times a year, aims to provide subscribers with in-depth analysis of developments across the European foundation sector, promote the work of the centre’s members, detail trends in the sector and examine the legal and financial framework in which European foundations work.
The first issue focuses on the challenges facing global philanthropy with articles on financial strategy and the state of global funding. It will spotlight the Spanish foundation sector in particular, as the centre’s Annual General Assembly will be held in Madrid later this year.
Based in Brussels, the European Foundation Centre works with a core group of 200 members to promote and develop organised philanthropy worldwide. It also operates WINGS, a global network of around 100 grant-making and support organisations.
