Capacity Building for Rural Arts Organisations

Would you like professional help to grow your business?

Do you have a vision but lack the capacity to develop your organisation?

We can help you to focus and identify ways to develop and progress.

Cultivate, the East Midlands organisational and audience development agency, will provide support to up to 15 organisations on a 1:1 basis to help develop business skills, facilitate support and identify capacity building needs. Support could include areas such as developing a volunteer scheme, fundraising, setting up organisational systems and procedures, and making the most of boards and committees.

The programme aims to help participants to develop business skills, and it will identify their capacity building needs through one-to-one diagnostics. Cultivate welcomes applications from all rural arts and cultural organisations based in East Midlands who operate on a not-for-profit basis and have been in business for a minimum of one year.

This programme will be free to successful applicants. Priority will be given to organisations based in the following areas: High Peak, North East Derbyshire, Bassetlaw, Newark & Sherwood, South Holland, Boston and East Lindsey.
