Museums and Galleries Month (MGM)
How to get involved.
The East Midlands MGM leaflets are now printed and available. Copies are being sent to all museums in the East Midlands and further copies are available by contacting Ruth Stockdale on ruth.stockdale@mlaeastmidlands.org.uk or calling 0116 285 1368.

Renaissance East Midlands is also producing a number of MGM banners to be sent to participating museums and galleries. If you haven’t already asked for one, contact Ruth Stockdale on the email address above to be added to the list.
Support for arts events
Clare Moloney, MGM arts administrator, is available to give advice on setting up events and activities with artists, and bringing museums and art galleries together. Clare has also set up an MGM Potlach wiki site. The site is very simple to use and is a way of giving and receiving reciprocally. Museums and galleries who have skills, knowledge, advice, equipment, time, resources to offer can post them on to this site. Organisations who are looking for various equipment and resources can request them on this site.
If you would like to become a Museums and Galleries Month Potlach member email Clare Moloney on claremol@googlemail.com. Once she has received your email, she will send you an invitation with simple instructions on how to join. Once you become a member, you will be able to offer and request items, upload your own text and images and add links you think will be useful to others.
