The future of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Rural Touring
The rural touring partnership consortia comprising Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire County and District Councils, and Arts Council (East Midlands) would like to commission a consultant to research national and regional delivery mechanisms for rural touring, and to make recommendations for the future delivery model for both schemes.
The combined Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire schemes currently promote over 200 performances each year, in around 70 venues in villages and market towns. We are looking to develop overall co-ordination of the schemes, with the aim of strengthening the role of local promoters, increasing the potential of rural and community venues and maintaining a high quality programme.We are therefore looking for individuals and/or organizations with knowledge of the national rural touring network, research and consultation methodology and experience of working across partnerships to develop new delivery models, to undertake this work.
