Community Organisations - funders

Funding is mainly through ‘Grants for the Arts’,a lottery funded scheme that offers funding for up to three years for specified projects. Grants are available to organisations and individuals.

Lottery funding scheme offering grants from £300 to £10, 000 for people to take part in art, sport, heritage and community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.

Many local councils operate funding schemes that support arts, sports, leisure and cultural projects. For details please contact your local council county, district or borough council.

Lincolnshire Creative Solutions Initiative is a creative and cultural catalyst. LCSI will contribute to the creative and financial well being of Lincolnshire. Its aim is to assist creative industry enterprises and cultural festival organisations to flourish.

The Foundation channels money donated by Littlewoods Gaming to a wide range of sporting and artistic causes. Their goal is to increase active participation in sport and the arts, especially amongst young people and those with more ability than resources. Museums may be eligible where there is a strong link to the arts. The Foundation can also offer interest-free loans where appropriate (e.g. during purchase or lease of property).
