Artists in Rural Areas EMARAN event
East Midlands Arts in Rural Areas Network invites you to its FREE spring event. EMARAN’s third regional event puts the spotlight on artists living and working in rural areas. Expert regional and national artists and practitioners will share their experiences of overcoming the challenges, and making the most of living and working in rural areas as well as discuss some national and international models for artists thriving in rural areas. There will be workshops and discussion groups, a tour of Market Harborough artists’ studios, and a long lunch break to allow for networking. read more

HMRC Grant in Aid Funding Programme
The aim of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is to administer tax and customs systems fairly and efficiently, and make it as easy as possible for individuals and businesses to understand and comply with their obligations and receive their tax credits and other entitlements. HMRC has £2 million per annum available for the next three financial years, aimed at funding Third Sector Organisations (TSOs). HMRC is committed to building its funding relationship with TSOs so that they play an increased role in public service delivery, particularly socially inclusive services to those who are hard to reach or who do not engage directly with them. The funds are available in the form of grants in aid to help with the costs of activity contributing to the HMRC’s key aims, outcomes and priorities. read more

The Adventure Capital Fund (ACF) offers a range of investments and support to develop community based enterprises. The aim of ACF is to fill the investment gap that faces community enterprise organisations, and to increase investment-readiness of community organisations wishing to move to greater sustainability through enterprise.
