Artists in Rural Areas EMARAN event

East Midlands Arts in Rural Areas Network invites you to its FREE spring event. EMARAN’s third regional event puts the spotlight on artists living and working in rural areas. Expert regional and national artists and practitioners will share their experiences of overcoming the challenges, and making the most of living and working in rural areas as well as discuss some national and international models for artists thriving in rural areas. There will be workshops and discussion groups, a tour of Market Harborough artists’ studios, and a long lunch break to allow for networking. read more

Culture East Midlands hosted a conference on Farm Diversification and Cultural Enterprise. Speakers attended from English Heritage, the Soil Association, EMDA, the Arts Council and The Threshing Barn.
